AK Chemtech

Established in 1951, Aekyung is one of the leading chemical and consumer companies in Korea. Aekyung Chemical Mate joint venture is to build a new specialty chemicals manufacturing facility in Malaysia, which will produce specialty cosmetic and personal care ingredients.

In addition to the joint venture, Chemical Mate also markets the entire range of surfactants and functional chemicals from the AK ChemTech portfolio. AK ChemTech’s manufacturing assets in Korea includes sulfonation.

AK ChemTech is a company newly established on July 1st 2009, by intergrating businesses for synthetic detergent material and paints within the Chemical department of Aekyung Group.
